The VadaTech UTC010 is a 792W power module designed for use in the µTCA chassis.
The UTC010 Operates at 90 Percent Efficiency within the µTCA Chassis. The VadaTech UTC010 is a 792W power module designed for use in the µTCA chassis. Also available in 396W, this leading design operates at 90 percent maximum efficiency, providing power to the twelve slots, two MicroTCA Carrier Hubs and the Cooling Units.
VadaTech uses the newest Intelligient Platform Management Interface, IPMI version 2.0, to define a set of common interfaces that allow for increased manageability. The UTC010 is also fully compliant with the MicroTCA.0 Revision 1.0 specification, as well as the AdvancedTCA Revision 2.0 and the AdvancedMC Revision 1.0.
The UTC010 is built to operate from 0º TO 65ºC with 400 LFM, and multiple temperature sensors have been implemented into the design to better monitor over-heating conditions. This power
module should be stored between -40º and 90ºC.
Special features of the UTC010 include RS-232 front panel access, a hot swap switch input with
+/-15 KV ESD protection, and input power ranging from -36VDC to -75VDC. The IPMI Management Control LEDs come in blue, red, amber and green with a fuse indicator for each input trail.
The 396W module starts at $950, and the base cost of the 792W version begins at $1600.
