Oracle enables real-time charging of next-gen communication services with Prepaid Charging platform

REDWOOD SHORES, CA. Polish Internet/mobile network provider CenterNet S.A. has deployed Oracle Communications’ Prepaid Charging in support of its intelligent telecom network. The Prepaid Charging platform served as the primary component of the network management system, and allowed CenterNet to improve network control, processing, and charging across all networks and user types (both pre and post pay).

Oracle Communications Prepaid Charging is a common platform that supports next-generation services through real-time, end-to-end network control of multiple services. Prepaid Charging allows the deployment of convergent services using multiple network technologies such as GSM, UMTS, IT, and LTE, and has self-provisioning capabilities that enable it to create new subscriptions and accounts independently of other systems.

“The unique features offered by Oracle’s solution, such as out of the box integration capabilities, were crucial to the project’s success, and helped to significantly reduce the implementation cost,” says Bhaskar Gorti, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Oracle Communications.

Implementation of Oracle Communications Prepaid Charging was spearheaded by Fujitsu Technology Solutions. Specifics on the platform can be found at
