Soraya Jones steps down as CEO at Cambridge Wireless
Cambridge, UK, 10 November 2014: Dr Soraya Jones has decided to step down as CEO at Cambridge Wireless, the leading not-for-profit, international community for companies involved in the research, development and application of wireless and mobile technologies. During her eight years at CW, Jones has grown the organisation from 70 to over 400 members from all over the world, ranging from start-ups to global operators, device manufacturers and service providers. The number of Special Interest Groups (SIGs) has also risen from five to 19, driven by some 90 industry leading SIG champions; while the flagship CW International Future of Wireless Conference and Discovering Start-ups competition have become key events in the industry calendar. Most recently, Jones announced the first CW Technical Engineering Conference next March in London.
